Phil White is a composer in the Montreal, Quebec area. 

He composes for film, television, commercials and video games.

 

After almost a 20 year career in the music scene, White has honed his craft and has earned the status as a well-respected bassist, guitarist and overall musician.

 

Throughout his band days, he always experienced a passion for film, television and gaming music and took the plunge into the film scoring world several years ago. Originally a bass player, White also plays guitar, piano/keyboards and percussion.  He showcases many of those instruments in the majority of his scores. White has composed music in various independent films, and commercials and has received honorable mentions in many international scoring contests. Most recently, White wrote the score for the independent short film On the Edge of Something which was accepted into the 2016 Toronto Independent Film Festival. In 2015, he scored another TIFF accepted documentary called The Boobie Trap in 2015
